Hiking in North Vancouver is something that should not be missed by anyone passing through the city. The trails are easily accessible and just minutes from downtown Vancouver. There’s various trails for the beginner to the expert hiker and if you’re in to dog walking or just a leisurely stroll there’s something for you too!
The summer months can be hot and dry in Vancouver and a great place to cool down is in the shade of the forest or at a nearby river. This particular hike was just after a fresh rainfall. The forest turned from dull dry to a beautiful lush green and became quite humid with the cloud cover.
