A few days ago I spent the afternoon hiking out to Quarry Rock in Deep Cove, BC. It’s a well traveled path with lots of roots, rocks and stairs. For some it can take a solid hour but it is fairly easy to get to the viewpoint in just under that. It’s a real treat once you reach the viewpoint “Quarry Rock” which is at the end of the Baden Powell Trail that stretches across North Vancouver. Panoramic views overlook Indian Arm, Coquitlam, Burnaby and Deep Cove. It’s quite perfect on a beautiful sunny day!
