Waimea Canyon in Kauai, Hawaii is an incredible landscape that is very popular among locals and visitors. People travel for miles just to see the beautiful rolling ridges and enormous cliffs that drop straight to the bottom of the canyon. You don’t realize how big it is until you can scale it to the tiny helicopter flying in the distance. Waimea Canyon is an attraction that should not be missed. I took this photo from the main viewpoint. I love the contrast of the rich blue sky with the green trees and red rock. The colours really make the picture.
