Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver is a great spot to get away from the nearby city. The park is quite isolated and a little hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going. A short drive from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver will get you there though.
Whytecliff Park features Whyte Island, a fairly large island that is accessible by foot at low tide. It’s a perfect picnic spot and there’s lots of interesting wildlife to see including Seals and Eagles.
This photo was taken just before sunset in the summer. It was a very rainy week and I wanted to capture a more dramatic scene that still showed the warmth of summer.
